Welcome to the cyberspace home of The Flagship.  I am Robert L. Jenkins, Jr., Esq., the 42nd Polemarch of the Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  Our chapter prides itself on being at the forefront of advancing the cause of our beloved fraternity.  While there are many ships in the Kappa fleet, The Flagship sails in front.

Since our chartering in 1924 by former members of the Howard University Chapter, the Xi of Kappa Alpha Psi, four members of The Flagship have served as Grand Polemarch, the highest office in the fraternity.  Eight of our members have been bestowed the Laurel Wreath Award, the fraternity’s highest honor which it confers on members.  More members of our chapter, nine, have received the highest regional award, The Pillar of the Province Award, than any other.  We are the reigning Eastern Province Large Chapter of the Year.  We are proud to claim men like Dr. William Henry Green, Frank D. Reeves, Rev. Walter Fauntroy, Mayor Adrian Fenty, and Council Member Kwame Brown as past and present members.  Members of The Flagship represent the very best our fraternity has to offer.  We strive to lead our fraternity and the community at large.  We are One Team working as One Chapter for One Kappa!
